Judy Staley, PhD(c), FNP-BC, CNS, WHNP, LCCE, HBCE, HBIM, RN

Ms. Staley is the Dean and RN Program Director at Galen’s San Antonio campus. She received her Associate of Applied Science Degree from Belleville Area College, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Incarnate Word University in San Antonio, Texas, a Master of Science Degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas and is working on her PhD at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. She has advanced recognition by the state as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Maternal Child Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner, Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner and prescriptive authority. Additional certifications include: Colposcopy, Lamaze Childbirth Education, HypnoBirthing Childbirth and Infant Massage Education. She has over twenty years of nursing education experience in LVN, RN, ADN, BSN and MSN programs. She has administrative experience in nursing education and nursing practice. Ms. Staley published an article on evidence based practice in nursing education, reviewed textbook chapters for accuracy, written nursing care plans for textbooks, written sections of a textbook on NANDA NIC and NOC, been a speaker at multiple events, served on advisory boards and maintained nursing practice hours.
