Admissions Process
After submitting a completed application packet - an interview may be scheduled with the applicant upon receipt of a formal or informal transcript and upon the applicant’s provision of the ACT/SAT scores described above, or who pass the entrance examination. If an interview is required, it will not be scheduled until an official transcript or test scores are received.
The applicant must demonstrate in the interview both a clear understanding of the program requirements and a desire to commit the time and effort necessary to progress.
The Admissions, Progressions & Graduation Committee will consider the applicant’s application in totality. Applicants accepted or rejected by Galen College will be notified in writing.
After a successful interview and receipt of an acceptance letter, the applicant will be responsible for scheduling an appointment within 20 days with their assigned Financial Planning Coordinator. Failure to do so could result in forfeiture of your seat in the next available class. During this appointment, the Financial Planning Coordinator will review the various options available at Galen to finance your education and answer any questions you may have prior to signing the Enrollment Agreement.
Please refer to the Financial Aid section for further information regarding fees that must be paid during the Financial Aid appointment.
