Nursing Education Programs

Galen College programs for nursing education are planned, collaborative learning experiences with predetermined outcomes that prepare graduates to function as safe and competent practitioners of nursing. Faculty designed learning experiences, provided in a caring atmosphere of a mentoring and assistive relationship, facilitate optimal student learning.

Our practical nursing education is an entry-level program that prepares direct care providers and provides a supporting foundation for continued academic nursing education.

Galen’s registered nursing education at the associate degree level prepares individuals to assume the broader legal scope of nursing practice in a variety of health care settings in both dependent and independent nursing functions.
